For too long, patients with lymphedema, venous edema, post-surgical swelling, lipedema, trauma-related edema, wound risk, and other medically complex fluid-retention conditions have fallen into the gaps between traditional care models. Many are told to “just elevate,” “wear compression,” or wait until symptoms worsen enough to require wound care, hospitalization, or emergency intervention.
We built EdemaCare to change that.
What started with a strong foundation in specialized swelling and skin integrity support has grown into a broader, more comprehensive model for home-based specialty care and disease management. Today, we care for patients whose needs often extend beyond one diagnosis and whose outcomes are shaped by overlapping clinical, functional, and environmental factors.
Our approach is personal because this work is personal. We meet patients where they are, physically and emotionally. We enter the home not just to address one condition, but to understand the whole picture: swelling, skin integrity, mobility, caregiver support, compliance barriers, risk factors, and the real-life challenges that influence outcomes.
That is what makes EdemaCare different. We are not simply delivering a service. We are helping patients regain comfort, confidence, support, and stability.
While chronic edema and wound-related complications remain a core focus, our model extends beyond edema and wound management alone. We provide integrated clinical and supportive services designed to help stabilize high-risk patients, close gaps in care, improve functional outcomes, and reduce avoidable utilization across the continuum of care.
Our team supports patients who are often underserved by fragmented care models, especially those with overlapping comorbidities, recurrent cellulitis, skin integrity concerns, mobility limitations, post-acute needs, and ongoing risk for hospitalization or clinical decline. By bringing care into the home, we gain a more complete view of the patient’s condition, environment, barriers, and needs — allowing us to intervene earlier, coordinate more effectively, and support better long-term outcomes.
Our goal is to serve as a comprehensive, one-stop-shop partner for this patient population by supporting not only swelling and wound-related concerns, but also the broader disease management, functional, and care-coordination needs that influence quality of life, provider performance, and total cost of care.
Our approach goes beyond symptom control alone. We combine hands-on clinical intervention, disease management, care coordination, telehealth support, and real-time insight from the home to help patients manage their conditions more effectively and to help providers and payers address risk earlier and more comprehensively.
We know chronic swelling, wound risk, mobility decline, and ongoing health challenges can be exhausting. They affect more than the body. They affect confidence, independence, routines, and daily life. Many patients have already tried pieces of treatment without ever receiving a plan that feels connected or complete.
Our goal is to bring expert care into the home and make the process feel easier to understand and easier to navigate. We take time to educate, support, and guide patients so they feel informed, respected, and not alone.
We support physicians, specialists, discharge planners, and care teams by helping manage patients who need more specialized oversight, more visibility, and more continuity than routine episodic care can provide.
Our team helps extend provider reach by identifying needs in the home, reinforcing treatment plans, monitoring for change, and returning meaningful updates that support better coordination and follow-through.
We treat every patient with dignity, empathy, and respect.
We bring specialized knowledge, thoughtful care planning, and high standards to every interaction.
We believe better outcomes happen when care is connected, not siloed.
We are committed to meaningful impact for patients, providers, and partners.
We are helping build a better model for a patient population that has been underserved for too long.
EdemaCare was created to meet a need that healthcare has too often overlooked. We are proud to care for patients in a way that is more personal, more proactive, and more complete. Because better care should not wait until crisis.
